As a mathematician, I assure you that the labor force figures are impossible to measure accurately.

One of the things we learned in 'Economics 101" was just that.

How many people are counted as having 'jobs' who have gone back to school. How many people have retired?
How many illegals from other countries have entered and left the job market------are they part of the "Labor Force".

Another question is how many illegals are working for the United States Government? Illegals that have not become citizens. I would like to see that count-------in detail. Non-citizens who work in the Federal Government? Are there any?

Why do we even need to 'count' the possible 'labor force'?

Look forward to your response.
