This is either the biggest bull trap in history or this market is first breaking out of a 14 year trading range and will lift off from here and reach unbelievably new highs.
It's a damn good question.. I worry about the strength in the USD putting pressure on stocks and commodities, by deflating their values.

Can the USD and US equity markes BOTH outperform, hand in hand?

One thing that is sure is the rising USD is causing havoc in emerging market currencies. I'm seeing that personally (to my great benefit) here in Indonesia, where the Rupiah is now over 12,000 to the USD and looking to devalue even more.. (a lot of local politics also involved in that, as well).

But look at the Yen and Euro!!

Still suggest that QE was about keeping the value of the USD down, and now that is reversing, possibly as a Fed Reserve response to threats towards it as a global reserve currency.
