I see the source of your confusion on this subject. Evolution says nothing about origins. There is no evolving unless there is something to evolve from. Evolution is all about why things work today the way they do. The theory of Natural Selection is not the Grand Unifying theory of the universe. It's a specific theory about changes that result when inheritance is nearly all from parent to child. That happens to correspond with life on this planet up to now, but it does not explain all change and it does not explain origins. TP
