I don't follow gold that much. You are right that ABX is at 2008 levels and I think junior miners are there too. I don't have opinion or picks. My speculative gold position AGXKF is down over 80%, so...

FCX - still much higher than 2008 bottom. I hold position though I can't say I like it.

Oil. Most companies are much higher than in 2008. E.g. CVX is way higher. I hold position. I'd want a big drop to buy more.

Coal. Coal might recover if natgas runs up. Personally, I'd rather see new nukes and coal ground into the ground. :) But I'm not in control, so I think that there will be coal runup at some point. Don't ask me when.

So, maybe I am missing opportunities here, but I am not buying in any of these sectors.

Anyone else thinks that these are pound-the-table buys?
