I agree that the experiment that Desi ran was constrained by the artificial conditions that were imposed on it but the point I'm raising is that there was no new species generated. If you can show us so experimental evidence that proves natural selection can produce new species then please produce it.

Certainly there is no fossil evidence that this has happened. That's why there is such an uproar over the Cambrian explosion. There are no transitional fossils before or after. That's the reasons that Gould came up with his Punctuated Equilibrium/ Hopeful Monster theory.
