"awareness" and 'Self-awareness" both entail the idea of consciousness. What you are doing is smuggling the conclusion into the initial premise of the question at hand and begging the question. I understand that this is done all the time by professionals and amateurs alike, but that doesn't make it a legitimate form of argument.

The original question, I believe, was how does Naturalism account for the sudden appearance of consciousness in some forms of matter? Your answer appears to be the bare assertion that all matter is conscious. That sounds more like the religious position known as Pantheistic Monism than it does a scientific theory. Monism provides one possible answer to the unity of the Uni-verse but it fails to account for the diversity and personal attributes that that we see all around us, especially in Human Beings.

The Christian answer is that the Triune Personal Creator is the only answer that sufficiently accounts for all the evidence.
