Tech -

ConSyGen Inc. Provider of Fully Automated Year 2000 Conversion Services.

I would also include literature regarding the Millennium conversion with BIG bold letters on top:

ONE OF THE ONLY, IF NOT THE ONLY, FULLY AUTOMATED CONVERSION EVER DONE.

Please! I refrained from engaging in this sort of PR hype. TED was far too gentle.

The "conversion" stage as handled by CSGI constitutes at best 15% to 20% of the effort of these projects.

Crowing that CSGI does 100% while SEEC & PTUS only claim perhaps 95% just shows that SEEC & PTUS have a bit more experience under their belts.

Example: I worked with a set of scanning/parsing tools (JCL, COBOL) that had been in the field for 12+ years... and you know what?! Whenever they went into a new site, they'd blow up on code features we'd never encountered before.

You're reading far more into those CSGI press releases than is there.

btw- I did a search on that document you posted for the word "automated". Several instances came up. However, when I searched for "fully automated" none came up.

Which says precisely NOTHING. The difference is simply the imagination of the wordsmith who's doing the spin control that day.
