>> Republican candidates for Senate and Governor in Georgia are getting hurt because rural hospitals are going broke with no Medicaid money to pay the bills. These races should not be close but they are close and lack of Medicaid is part of the reason.

Yes, everyone knows. Anyone who stands up against dumping trillions of dollars of debt on future generations is apt to get hurt by it in elections. What else is new?

We could all live in Utopia next door to Bernie Sanders, where money grows on trees and spending dollars today does not hurt our kids. But outside of Utopia, people recognize that it is one of the most outrageous moral wrongs a society can commit. Sucking up the future standards of future generations for our own comfort and benefit.

Now, how you rationalize that treatment for your own offspring I'll never know. It is one stop short of eating your young, and certainly not a very civilized behavior.
