*AV*--I haven't sidestepped your posts. I haven't taken the time to read the last 9 unread messages. I am moving forward and have not moved back yet. I am working off the last 178 hotmail messages I have received.
As far as insults are concerned. I have, on numerous occasions apologized to you for misinterpreted comments or other comments. I am very quick on the apology when I believe I may have erred. Never have you seen your way to look at some of the comments you may have made that might be offensive to me. Thus these occasional blow ups occur. Misunderstandings occur and I am not the only one that occasionally has them.
I will most likely get caught up in the next few days and will answer the 9 (10 but I am answering this most recent one) unopened messages along with close to 100 Stock Swap posts I have yet to read along with the hot mail.
For now, posting some of the information I have come across will take priority since I am going off my hotmail messages. Admittedly there are a few from you which I have yet to get to. All in good order and all in the order received. I have answered some messages and have a long ways to go.
I side step nothing and I will not disrupt my pattern of catching up.
As far as I am concerned, my porfolio is almost documented to the letter and a vast majority of my trades have been posted. I take a stand for better or worse and find it offensive when comments such as yours are made. Everyone knows I have the staying power and everyone also knows that some of the things I do cannot be done if you do not have sufficient enough back up.
By selling certain stocks for a loss (Tax loss) and using the money for short term plays (ASYT for close to 4 points today or 20%), I am executing a recovery plan to put me in better shape for the eventual comeback of this sector. Smart trading allows me to make up for mistakes instead of sitting on the sidelines. When I make a mistake it is for all to see and so is the recovery. I will gladly lose $5 for every $8 I make. In the long run it pays off.
TA is great and so is anticipating the market trends. But the real money is made when investing $$$$ occurs and sharing this activity with the community. Vicki used to verbalize the PRMS daytrades and Patrick is a respected authority when he enlightens us with his Index Option activity. I have a great history of getting in and out too soon but I make money at it. IF anyone has truly followed me they know not to follow my trades when I do them but to wait 2-4 days as seems to be the pattern. If they did, most often they would profit greater than I have done. More power to them and great for them.
Waiting a few days after the most recent purchases would have allowed some investors to catch some real bottoms and take a short profitable ride up or play a nice down up down up roller coaster for the not feint at heart. They would have seen 10-20% profits in some of these stocks which, if you recall, I always say to take when presented.
I do not use covered calls and puts as much of my investment strategy as I have mentioned on numerous occasions. However, when I do use them, they seem to pay off. If you remember, there were a bunch of covered UTEK calls that have been extremely profitable for me. As a matter of fact, the $$$$ made on these calls have helped to buy back some of the $28 stock I sold to buy other investments.
This community is made up of many types of investors. Those that keep current on the active posters have come to know them and their styles. Mine is one of the most predictable and open. I do take offense when comments such as yours are made. IT has only been on a handful of occasions when I actually use the words, BUY this stock at this price range. I always provide information and leave it to others to ask questions, ask for additional information, and to make their own informed decision. I do not need anyone putting the word out saying not to follow me. To me that is an insult. You could very well have easily made your comments, backed up with pertinent information and rationale why this might not be an appropriate time to invest without the challenging approach you made in my direction.
Rest assured that I will respond to all posts you have made. If any deserve an apology, you will get it. However, it has become quite apparent that you failed to sense that I was behind even though I posed that with the number of unread messages when I posted to Patrick. Yet I am being accused of side stepping you. When Have I ewver side stepped on this or any other thread???? Your recent post here throws an insult in my direction, yet my history of over a year gives no indication that I would ever blow off or side step an issue or a post.
