"I think you are confusing a view of reality with a moral approval of it. I don't have to approve of status quo in order to assess it. You are also trapped into too much wishful thinking and seeing your world through overly rose colored glasses."

No. The error is yours... in claiming surrender to the "inevitable" is realistic... rather than stupid, and whether stupid or not, purely a self fulfilling choice.

Mine is not wishful thinking... rather than a declaration of the FACT in my approach to the world. I am declaring myself NOT a slave... while also declaring that I require behavior of others that is consistent with my self interest. I do not and will not agree to submit or surrender my rights... whether you choose to surrender to other impositions or not.

That is the reality I impose... on others... who would prefer it were not so.

However, the intrinsic conflict in your own posting... obvious... in that the one link you provide advocates for a lack of morality as a proper basis for analysis, and in considering decisions... while the other requires the opposite, in claiming (properly) that intelligence is essentially both real in impact, and a moral force.
