The answer is too simple for you, the problem lay in those severed muscles of the brain? This famed rabbi Hillel was from Babylon and thru him the 'Golden Rule' finally makes it's debut in Jerusalem. Better late than never one could argue, but seems it was too-little-too-late as this was just before the fall. We find this other Hebrew rabbi Jesus, from out of Egypt catches onto to the same theme of the ethics of reciprocity popularized by the Hellenes. Plain to see this greatest of natural wisdom has to be imported, one from Babylon, then the other rabbi brings the Golden Rule idea in from Egypt: <alas>
Matthew 2:13-15, The Escape to Egypt When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”
So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “OUT OF EGYPT I CALLED MY SON!"
