I have opined already these still extant fictional tribal characters & ancient tribal myths from Moses to Maccabees to Masada do more harm than good. I see nothing producing peace or universal understanding in the world by clinging to such imbecilic fictions that ignore all those templates for holy war. You have a child's understanding of the evolution of Judaism, that doesnt even coherently gel itself till around 500AD.

My personal view that the rebels at Masada were pretty much zealouts & murderous fanatics and you might note that Josephus himself also tells how they murdered their own peacefull brothers raiding villages in Ein Gedi & slaughtering many Jewish locals. Not heros but murderous scum maybe, who speaks for the innocents these brave butchers killed in the night?

These myths have been used even by the secular Jewish authorities in modern times to engender a nationalism which is fine, but lets get real who those historical fanatics pointed to really were. The same type of odious religious propagandas applies equally to Islam or Christianity in centuries past, there's India & China now in the mix, who tells them that 'Moses' was the true rep of God on earth? You?

Maybe you should go on a mission then to Mumbai or Beijing, put your faith where your mouth/ typing finger is?
