kidl, What changed my mind was an article by Vivian Krause that proved that a US State Dept has a committee with invited members being amongst the largest and richest US foundations which have provided over the years, $100's of millions to Canadian ngo's and First Nations to fight pipelines to the coast, oils sands etc. From that, it is reasonable to infer that US foreign policy is against Canada exporting energy to anywhere except the USA.The US is a much bigger dog than Canada. I now have no doubt the US will do what ever is necessary to ensure Canada does not export oil or nat gas to Europe or Asia.
