Dan, I notice that the current PE of VTSS as shown on Yahoo is 41. I know that the '97 trailing PE is only 28 and '98 forward PE is only 23. This is dumb but in this market, people shoot first and ask questions later. A stock with a PE of 41 on Yahoo or other financial publications will be very vulnerable to a slide. May be I miss a few chip stocks but I haven't found one with a high PE that does not go down during this month. I tried to convince people on the ORFR thread that the stock is going to slide because Yahoo shows a PE of 70 even though the trailing PE is only around 25. Sure enough, the stock slided from the low 20 to almost 12 before it bounced back to 17 thanks to an analyst's upgrade. So IMHO, it's too dangerous to get into VTSS right now. Btw, PE of TQNT is only 25 as shown on Yahoo.
