I don't think SUNE has any chance of rising in a bear market. We are not in a bear market yet by any means but the weakness that was seen even as stocks made there last top was astounding.

Despite the recent sell off some stocks have been outperforming. What stocks? Utilities have been a big winner as investors have been looking for low beta stocks with high yields.

SUNE has no actual earnings, no yield and an extremely high beta. Can an investor make money by going long for day trades, or possibly, short term swing trades on SUNE. I think that is possible. It might even be fun to try it if I could watch the stock every minute to make the quick trades.

I can't though.

In a bear market even utility stocks will get hammered. A high yield group that is already being burned down is the oil service stocks. We are due for a nice bounce but I really don't think we are done correcting in the intermediate term. It's going to get interesting. Be very nimble my friends. The whole market is still very risky:
