Vikings converted peacefully like most people's in ancient times .....And it was downhill for the Vikings ever since they converted. Actually the spread of this Christianity virus is quite the illusion since nothing ever really changed, the wealthy elites & royalty remained wealthy elites & royalt. It was great tool for keeping those illiterate peasant obedient with some of the whispiest smoke of hopes tho.

And as always, religion commanded the loyalty of armed soldiers & raising god's militias for the inevitable wars that always have come.
