John- I have been hearing some rumors about a merger like this. VVTV tried to buy NM several years ago and withdrew its offer, causing NM to plunge. NM sued VVTV and ultimately settled with them. While I have heard these rumors constantly, I've also heard that there are some problems with a possible merger. I believe the problems may be related to the recent equity infusion and subsequent price slide. I don't recall whether the terms of the stock offering were dependent upon future price performance of the stock. I don't see any reason to be optimistic right now, especially before year-end. I did see a good NM infomercial yesterday for some really neat mop/broom thing. I almost bought it. Based on previous indications, that means that it is a good seller. Just like that Do-It-All blender/chopper/slicer/dicer/thing. I didn't buy that either, but I certainly considered it. Good luck to all of you. Todd
