well, I have to admit that's not a joke. I am really searching for INTEL puts that will expire in about 1 or two years. In my opinion INTEL will get in serious trouble, because their high end processors are not really needed any longer. For business software a 80586 is good enough and for games I personnally prefer a Sony Playstation.
Not enough, Cyrix, AMD, IDT (together with Microsoft) and IBM build processors with about the same performance, but much more cheaper.
INTEL never learned to live with little margins, but customers don't want to pay more than $1000 or even less for a PC. So the processor (and that's what INTC can do best) will get cheaper and cheaper.
So, it my point of view, but I think INTC will get into trouble.
