Truff, thank you for unceremoniously tossing all of your stocks into the steaming lava pit of sellers. i hope that your offering was sufficient to appease the gods and that they will now allow IOM to quickly rise to new highs.

In other matters, would you please answer a question for me? Did you see this post:

Noticed you and Truff are shorting drillers. I'm curious who and why? Are you just riding the panic wave downward? I'm a L-T holder of NE and trying to determine the short psychology in a sector w/ seemingly stronger fundamentals than most in the mkt.
Just seeking contrarian opinions. Thanks.

Truff, i just can't figure out why everyone doesn't think these are the best stocks in the world. Most analyst are saying they are only one year into a 5 year cycle with plenty of earnings growth not priced into the stocks. None of them have missed earnings expectations and most are beating expectations. In the last few weeks several of them have been upgraded and none have been down graded. i've even seen earnings projections (short and long term) revised upwards. Major Oils are still signing long term leases at increased dayrates. There has been no credible case made that minor fluctuations in oil/gas prices will lessen the need for drilling: fuel consumption is growing way faster than reserves are being added. There are no rigs being built that are not already rented.

Truff, what is the problem with these stocks?

TIA
