I'm a little confused here...do you own Ballard in your RRSP? I thought you could buy protective puts, but maybe not. Makes too much sense. (Personally, I only have stripped bonds in mine.)

I can't comment specifically on you Ballard position, but typical courses of action would be to either do nothing and be called away, pocketing your profit--maybe looking to buy back in on a pull-back, or to roll up and out, buying back your short calls and selling say April 100s. It would be a debit trade, but the (paper) gain in Ballard would offset this.

I wasn't long Ballard because I'm smart--I just liked the way it was acting. I think it has further to go.
