Neo, last night I attended a seminar entitled "Darwin on Trial" in Seattle. The speaker was Phillip Johnson. You would have loved it! Very interesting...It seems that Mr Johnson is the defacto leader in a movement known as "The Intelligent Design Movement".

Basically he opens up a dialogue regarding the belief that Darwins theory of evolution is fact, and challenges the assumptions underlying that belief system. During that process he shreds the theory of evolution as nothing more than pseudo mysticism.

I wish I could remember one of the really good one liners he told, it was a parody on the bible which went something like this. "In the beginning there were particles and laws, and the particles decided to arrange themselves into complex creations and natural laws."

I didn't do it justice, but I think you get the idea.

Really fascinating stuff, I think you would enjoy this movement. It echo's so much of what I've seen you write.

I am vaguely aware of it, and I may try to set aside time to become better acquainted. It does sound interesting.

Here is another good article. I'm interested in reading a lot more.

I picked up a cassette tape of the event. If you like, I'll burn you a copy and snail mail it to you.

If it would not be too much trouble, that would be great. Do you still have my address, or should I PM it?
