Jack, I haven't seen it yet and heartily agree that nothing the networks produce could impress Jesus. (Jesus is impressed by whether we follow the greatest commandment, and the Golden Rule.)

The reason I was interested (and probably Steve & others also) is because, even though it so far hasn't even made a reference to Jesus, it may lead some people who don't have Bibles to get a copy, and may lead some who are not otherwise inclined, to open a Bible and read about angels.

If they get that far, some of them, those who are interested in seeking the truth, may go on to learn about Jesus. As Paul the Apostle said, (paraphrasing) anything that turns people's minds toward God, has some value.

I agree about the leftist bias of the networks. We don't even turn on our tvs much any more. The kids wanted to watch the Olympics.

We used to watch McNeil-Lehrer Report on PBS, before my wife's hearing got worse. She got a then current list of members of the CFR (the very leftist Council on Foreign Relations). While watching McNeil-Lehrer, she looked up the names of the guests in the CFR membership list. Almost invariably, the guests were CFR members.

So, McNeil-Lehrer is a CFR, one-world-government propaganda program.
