Is that Anne or Brian or some scary hybrid of the two? Is your company an integrator or product company? It would be interesting to hear a little more. Since my original post, I have done alot more "field" research on Genesys. It seems like they are uniquely positioned in the CTI world to become a big, harry animal. It seems that the two companies close to offering a similar solutions are private - Answersoft and Nabnasset- and that these competitors are a ways off from Genesys capabilities. BTW, Nabnasset was recently bought out by an CIS company called Quintis, so that illustrates illustrates their inability to ramp up solo for an IPO. The one negative I have heard is that Genesys is experiencing some growing pains with support and product issues. They have a very complex product and are growing at hyper speed. I have heard that their management team is aware of this and has beefed up the support org over the last 6 months and has changed alot of the ways that projects are initiated (from a quality standpoint) and products are developed. The have also added some pretty experienced managers from the telecomm industry. I think the best quote I have heard is that "the industry is theirs to lose."
