The Jews could not have been annihilated as you claim and then be found in Egypt and elsewhere. If you had actually read the bible you would know that the Mosaic covenant is all about Blessing and Cursing as it relates to the Israelites faithfulness to the Covenant. Blessing and fruitfulness in the land for faithfulness and cursing and exile for unfaithfulness. All that, with the ultimate promise that God will fulfill his purpose to redeem not only all Israel but the whole world. That's what's happening and is about to happen with Israel today. Queen Victoria of England once asked her prime minister, Benjamin Disraeli: "Give me a proof that God exists." The answer was: "The Jews, your Majesty!"
