There was a large car dealer up near Philly that had an announcer who was so loud and obnoxious that I finally had enough of trying to grab for the remote to change the channel before he uttered his first syllable and called them. I told them that their commercial had made it to the top of my most hated commercial currently on TV because of their announcer's in-your-face yelling, and that he must be harming their business.

My call got shuttled around and ended up with a manager, a benefit actually because I wanted to talk to someone in admin, not just a receptionist or salesman.

I must not have been the only person to complain because after some time, another version of the spot aired. It had the same guy but he was toned down. My guess is they checked their sales numbers after the original commercial started to air and didn't like what they found.
