Do you give credit to Obama for the nice stock market returns recently or do you give credit to the Fed who has manipulated prices of every asset class through ZIRP and QE? I'm sure you think it's all the excellent policies of the Democrats, which is of course Fantasy Land thinking. I can guarantee to drive stock markets up. All I have to do is print shitloads of money. Every country who has tried this has always seen their stock markets soar in the short run. Hell, even Argentina and Venezuela's stock markets have soared under their highly inflationary policies. However, it doesn't make anyone richer, except for the cronies and rich at the very top of the pyramid. One thing history shows us very clearly is that these policies are ruinous for the 99%. These are historical facts, and yet, we think things will somehow be different here in the US, because we're Americans dammit and nothing bad ever happens to us, even when we act stupidly.
