I've posted that graphic elsewhere. It is useful, but......

1. The cost range for "ultra-deepwater" probably doesn't include Brazil's deepwater, because they aren't doing much of it yet. There isn't much of a track record.

2. It defies common sense, that "ultra-deepwater" will have lower costs, or even the same range of costs, as "deepwater".

3. The cost range on that chart for "oil sands" is for mining. There are two methods of extracting oil sands: mining and in-situ. Most existing production is mining; almost all new production is going to be in-situ. In-situ has lower costs than mining, and costs continue to fall.
