Meet one of the few primarily vegetarian spiders, Bagheera kiplingi. Over 40 species of spider have been found to drink nectar, but this is the first to survive primarily on plant material. Making a switch to a vegetarian diet probably took a long time, and they would need a drastic gut fauna shift. But plant food sources could be more accessible.

As Craig pointed out in the comments, they eat beltian bodies, which are rich in proteins. These are somewhat less of a transition from animal protein, as opposed to them eating leaves or fruits. Ants guard them, and I can't think the ants would take to kindly to a little Bagheera.
