I just got back from a trip but dvr'd Homeland, and I just caught up with the first four episodes and I'm seriously considering jumping ship. It's just an okay story and it's nothing compared to the urgency of the first season. Remember how exciting that first season was? They have what was a hit on their hands so they're just soaking it for a few more seasons (while they can) employing some of the same, known characters. If it were a movie -- See Claire Danes as a CIA section chief in Islamabad try to track down terrorists while her sister takes care of her baby back in The States -- I probably wouldn't go to that movie, especially if it were thirteen hours long.

I didn't have the dvr set to record The Affair but I'm going to try to get caught up before Sunday's episode, but I'm very confused. They are replaying episodes one and three regularly but there have been no replays of episode two since I've been home, or scheduled to play. To make things more confusing, it says that episode one was originally aired on Oct 12 and that episode three originally aired on Oct 19. Episode four is scheduled to play tomorrow night. So when did episode two originally air, and why don't they replay it? Has there really been three episodes aired already or did they forget about the number two when they numbered the episodes?
