Well, 12.5 percent of patients don't run a fever. In that New England Journal of Medicine study, where they just looked at several thousand of these cases in West Africa, the lead author of the paper is adamant. He says, I sat there, I monitored this patient's temperature myself until they died and they never ran a fever.
Now that IS scary!!!

That suggests that 12% of the people who have been exposed to Ebola could completely circumvent current detection protocols... More than 10%..

Here's something ELSE that is scary.. They are finding that Ebola can remain viable and likely infectious for up to 60 days at lower ambient temperatures experienced in Western Africa..

So imagine some guy from a meat-packing plant, or other refrigerated food processing facility coming down with Ebola? Or worse, some terrorist/criminal element spraying contaminated fluids around in such a facility?

What would be the economic ramifications for that company? They would have to shut down their entire operation, decontaminate, and then attempt to validate that decontamination to the satisfaction of consumers.. right?

With the thousands of Ebola victims in Africa, it's not hard to believe that, at some point, we're going to see it actually used as a bio-weapon.. The quantities of contagious bodily fluids available to some sinister actor are pretty substantial..

Btw, I learned something else that is kind of scary.. Read this article and look at the caption under the photo of the actual virus. It states that the Ebola Virus can be found on a victim's skin after symptoms develop..

So if 10% of the people out there are not showing the earliest symptoms (a fever) and the virus is present on their skins at such a point, you do the math..
