ARCP. Yeah, these companies with bogus financials. I seem to own one about every year. Last year was Poseiden in Canadian oil service business (supposedly there was a business) which turned out to be an outright fraud. ARCP does have properties, does pay a dividend. I don't know if the dividend is sustainable or at risk. I will hold on though. -- As I have done with several of the others of this ilk that have reported substantial accounting "errors" and had overly aggressive management. With Poseiden, I rode its"errors" into "fraud" into "a total fraud" and into bankruptcy. My position is now worth, in total, about 17 cents. I suspect, but don't know, that the ARCP situation isn't ultimately like that.
