I used to make a lot of foods by hand. We grew a lot of fruit, and I used to make jams, syrups and all of my kid's fruit rolls with it. I made peanut butter, butter, bread, smoked salmon, beef jerky. 99% of our meals were home cooked, and I always made their lunch so they could take it to school. A couple of yrs ago they confessed that they would sell my sandwiches and buy school lunch.

I wasn't very happy about that.............I wanted my kids to eat fresh, wholesome food.
