"I wonder if you'll have the guts to watch this:"

Of course I do. But I didn't. I don't have time for propaganda pieces.

Other than calling me a few names, your post said a whole lot of nothing except that you are against abortion rights. So be against them. Your life. Fortunately, you will never need to be pregnant--will you??

Reasonable people over the centuries have developed rules and regulations to govern human communities. At the core of our western values is the idea that we ought to grant all people fundamental rights and freedoms. Although, many learned people have argued that human life other than individuals ought to be considered as persons--the arguments for this have been found insufficient. The fact that the conception (at all stages) remains a part of the woman's body and (as well) her property creates a rational conflict if one attempts to grant the conception human rights--in spite it undeniably has human DNA.

Thus, ethicists prefer to focus on the prevention of unwanted pregnancies. This will make the abridgement of women's rights a less likely objective of those who argue from superstitious beliefs.
