Spot gold trend Interesting to observe time again New York's dominance, bidding up the spot price again, right on the opening bell. kitco.com Speculation re today's BIG MEETING; An announcement of support will undoubtedly be made, some people are expecting use of "overwhelming force". However serious conditions are in the East, they must be looking inward as well, so something involving the US dollar will be agreed upon. The US dollar is the world's reserve currency, it's maintenance is of utmost importance for world currency and monetary stability. Maybe something like the Plunge Protection Team for the US dollar? But this will probably be a secret agreement. Maybe as T.B. suggested, US will increase money supply?? The word deflation is being heard more often now, so they may be tempted to inflate? Phil
