If this 'deity' wanted so much to reveal himself, then he could have done so easily with the Egyptians. But we in fact see they had a marvelous grasp of the measure of things themselves. All you are doing is beating your sanctimonous puritan chest with this tiny faked & baked history that both you & the Islamists never dare to question.

Its Middle Eastern tribalism, nothing more & nothing less. Face Mecca, stand up when you pray, kneel when you pray, face this way or that, cover your face, eat a peach. Little tiny rules that mean nothing.
