BUSH'ES RECESSION???

Democrats took over both the House and the Senate in January 4th, 2007.

Before that point. The Republicans controlled both the House and Senate from 1995 - 2007, except for a 2 year period between 2002-2004 where the Senate was controlled by the Democrats.

Hard to deny that the period from 2001-2007 was a period of economic expansion.

The Recession officially began in December 2007.. ~12 month after the Democrats took control of both the House and the Senate.
