Unless goods are actually sold cheaper using them (on sale) why bother?

For me, the point is that it's less of a bother to use ApplePay than a plastic credit card. I wouldn't do it if it wasn't MORE convenient. The worst thing about paying with plastic is needing to put away my phone when I get to the front of the line so I have a hand free to pull out my wallet.
