Yes.............. after the Civil War my ancestors came across the country in covered wagons from N.Y. to WA. arriving here in 1889. My paternal grandmother was a very good cook, and taught me how to can foods and prepare meals. I have her pressure cooker and it works great.

She also told me stories about my ancestors........which I really appreciate. I miss her stories, and wish I'd asked more questions when she was alive.
