Trolls are narcissistic, sadistic, and psychopathic. The scientific studies prove it. They post hundreds of thousands of posts without content other than taunts and insults. They want to be admired and they CRAVE attention. Not the attention one gets from preparing a thoughtful argument and collating sources to support a point of view. But the kind of attention some witless, immature, Nimrod gets from stalking people and bombarding them with schoolboy insults. They are self absorbed and their insults are just to get you to look their way and this lets them know they are important--except they don't believe it and never can--no matter how many times you cuff them. They will always feel small, lonesome, and inferior--unless they get professional help.
