What's the minimum wage for voting? An old man at our polling place wanted to know would he be paid NOW as he put his ballot into the machine...his look of disappointment was very clear when the poll worker gave him a lapel sticker that proved he had voted....."Is this ALL I get?"....."It's all I can do RIGHT NOW" was the answer he received. He was seriously expecting something in return for voting and didn't know better than blurting it out in public ....senile maybe, but that does not mean he wasn't promised some cash.
