You guys have an INTERESTING 2 years ahead...

"President Obama on Wednesday afternoon will hold a news conference to offer his first public comments since Republicans seized control of the Senate and increased their numbers in the House and governors’ mansions.

The president’s appearance, scheduled for 2:50 p.m., according to the White House. It will be the first evidence of how Mr. Obama intends to deal with his newly empowered adversaries on Capitol Hill. A conciliatory and humble tone could signal that he’s prepared to compromise in the interests of easing the bitter stalemate that has gripped Washington for much of his term.

But Mr. Obama could take a more confrontational tone, promising to continue fighting for policies that Republicans have long rejected, betting that he won’t get cooperation from the other party no matter what he does. That could include vowing to move ahead with executive actions to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws without congressional approval.

If he takes that approach, the next two years in Washington could be especially acrimonious as both parties struggle for advantage even as a presidential campaign approaches in 2016."
