After BCBS raised my premium to 20K/y recently, I decided to call and find out what other options I had. Their answer: None. We aren't creating any new or different plans. We can offer you a one-year short-term policy, or you can go to the exchanges on November 15 and see what's there. No, you cannot increase your deductible.

Gotta love all that "choice".
