.this COMPLETES the cycle whereby the local conservative party threw out long time RINO Republican NY State Senator Steve Saland who continually sided with the Democrats including being the deciding vote on same sex marriage in NY............Saland got primary-ed by a conservative candidate in 2012 and was taken down by running that same conservative on the conservative ticket in the general. The conservative got more than enough votes to tip the election to a Democrat........We sucked it up for two years and then saw to it that a real conservative was on the Republican ticket this year. Conservative Sue Serino won .....displacing the libtard Democrat and became part of a now Republican MAJORITY in the New York State Senate. That majority does NOT contain any of the four RINOs that sold us out in 2012. They are ALL now out of office including the last one Mark Grisanti who was taken out easily by a Republican primary challenge this election. This approach should be used to take out a few carefully selected RINOs every election cycle...........GET MAD........GET EVEN

Albany/HV: 41st State Senate Race Goes to Sue Serino

The 41st Senate District ends with a win by Republican Sue Serino. Serino defeated first-term State Senator Terry Gipson in the 41st Senate District.

Serino's win was one of several that helped Republicans win control of the State Senate Tuesday night.

Leading up to the race, Serino campaigned on a push for more jobs and lower taxes.

"I couldn't have done it without everybody here, and the people came out, they're tired of what's going on in our country and our state, and it's great I've had people cross party lines. It's all about helping people, and I'm really looking forward to start helping," she said.

Gipson was elected to the state senate two years ago when he narrowly beat out veteran Senator Steve Saland.
