<An estimated 37 percent of eligible voters cast a ballot in the midterm elections,<

Vacation's over.. unemployment benefits were not extended.. They had to go back to work..

One thing you will find is that when people exit unemployment benefits and return to the work force.. Their attitudes on others still receiving unemployment benefits sours quickly.. Hence... "If I gotta go to work... Everyone goes to back to work".

I still remember the warnings to the Republicans about the price they were going to pay in November 2014 for not agreeing to extending unemployment benefits.. With dire warnings that the Republicans, unwilling to extend the benefits, had already cost the economy 5 Billion Dollars. But, when they were not extended... What happened?? Unemployment fell, Job Growth accelerated. By Q3 2014 the Democrats were all slapping each other on the back about jobs growth, extension of unemployment benefits was the last thing on their minds.
