Tunica, I agree. My bet is that these set-top boxes are being targeted for homes which currently do not have PCs because the cost is too high. Or, a PC for family use. In other words, another way to "expand the market" for Intel and others. A WEB/TV type appliance around $300 makes it more feasible. I agree that those people accustomed to working on their laptops or PCs might find it awkward to use...I would think I'm playing Nintendo again. joey
