Who really cares about fragmentation... its not important to most folks that they have this years engine in last years car.... if it was important, then buy this years car.

The reality is:
iPhone users have been starved of large screen phones and NFC for years.. and now, they get a full upgrade cycle to get to parity with what their peers have had for years and years....

Very few people are buying new Android phones for up to date software, 10's of millions of AAPL users are compelled to plonk down 6-900 bucks just to get NFC or a larger screen...
