You have zero finesse to understand the connection between that messianic "belligerent ultra-nationalism & right wing religious zealotry" that appeared full force in the Bar Kokhba Nasi revolt. Always there were many good Jews who are the real unsung heros, not mad suicidal fanatics that did express a willingness to conduct a more open & moderate path. Their numbers were great & this directly because of that Hellenist philosophical influence, in truth the Hellenizers were the true saviors.

Emperor Hadrian

Most historians see emperor Hadrian at first willing & sympathetic to the Hebrews & was ready to negotiate building a new temple, there were conditions of course but what happened? Total annhilation came down with 580,000 Jews killed , 950 communities totally destroyed, all uneccessary. And only because of being led by mad, primitive, arrogant zealouts & the dogmatic right wing rabbis' ultra nationalism backing them up.

You'll note what the main point here is, whether you worship a supreme deity by the name of Jehova or Jupiter what is the difference? Or submitting to some primitive rite of circumcision or not? Or who blesses the sacrifice as long as people have peace & enough to eat? Nature being cruel enough with her vicisitudes as it is?

It was far too late after the Hellene Jews lost to the mad suicidal zealouts and the Christ/Jews who were slaughtered to. (Christianity a direct result of that Hellene philosophy)

The Jewish response to the rebuilding of Jerusalem was divided: although some found it intolerable that foreign religious rites should be performed in their city, others argued that pagans who wanted to sacrifice to the supreme God should not be hindered. This moderate point of view carried the day; after all,
was it not written that the Temple was to be 'a house of all nations'? The building was, according to the author Epiphanius, supervised by Aquila, who is otherwise known as a rabbi who translated the Bible into Aramaean and Greek.
