Brazil has complete control over their own destiny.200 million people in a country larger than USA excluding Alaska. Population growth of about 2.0 per 2 people .First world agriculture and lots of resources. Immigration policy years ahead of ours. Technology may be produced elsewhere (except agriculture) but is rapidly imported. Dilma was 10 points behind 3wks before the election. I think the elite asked her is she wanted to win and cut a deal. Just like with Lula it will be much easier for her to lead change. Lula did not so much lead change but told the masses to put down their pitchforks and let him take care of things. Brazil works around road blocks. You will never be efficient producers except in agriculture and raw materials ,but you don't need too.Let the Chinese make your products .China will slow to growth of GDP below 3% but income will flow to consumers. You will see in China over 15 years what Brazil saw in 8 years--massive transfer of income to the masses Brazil minimum wage in 15 years went up 10 X in dollars. You are still digesting that. In 5 years Chinese consumers will drive demand for your exports. For now Brazil should import deflation and use their resources on massive infrastructure spending.
