The bible itself provides many examples and indeed warnings to Israel about what would happen to them if they would not listen to the Prophets and head their warnings. The destruction of the first Temple and the subsequent Babylonian captivity was foretold by the Prophets and even the length of the exile was determined. One year for every Jubilee and Sabbath year that Israel failed to observe. Point being, God is not finished with the Jews.
Zechariah 12:10 Has not been fulfilled yet, but it will be, in God's good timing.
