Money for Nothing: Inside the Federal Reserve (2013) imdb.com I rarely watch TV but during a recent flight I came across this movie. I was surprised how well the information is presented. Not on ahhaha's level of perception - for instance, regarding the segment dealing with Volcker's role of fighting inflation at the beginning of the 1980ies. Message 28087685 But in general the story is on the money and much better than common myths like "the greedy banks caused the Lehman collapse". The author adequately highlights Greenspan's role who wanted to do good but caused several booms and busts with his loose monetary policy. At least Greenspan is starting to confess the dangers of the "accommodative" Fed policy. marketwatch.com Did I mention I miss ahhaha?
